Life is sticky... our insecurities, parenting, relationships, pursuing our dreams, finances, pressures, judgments… it's all very sticky. And so are some of my favorite foods! Let’s stop wasting time trying to make it all perfect, and instead, embrace the sticky chaos and still make something delicious out of it.
On this page, you’ll find some of my favorite recipes I make for my family and friends. My hope is that you will approach both life and cooking in the same way
Crispy Chickpeas
Ingredients
1 (15-ounce) can garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon ground paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Drain and rinse the beans. Dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel. (They won’t get crispy if they’re not fully dry.)
Toss the garbanzo beans with the rest of the ingredients, and spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, or until crispy.
